The Berkshire Pond Hockey Classic is an annual outdoor pond hockey tournament founded by Alex Regen in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts. Created to celebrate hockey in its purest form, the tournament has grown into one of New England's premier pond hockey events, bringing together players from across the Northeast for one day of competition, community, and winter tradition.
Played on natural ice, the tournament features eight rinks, sixteen teams, four-on-four hockey, with an atmosphere that welcomes players, families, and spectators. Beyond the games, the event celebrates the culture of pond hockey while supporting local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and outdoor recreation throughout the Berkshires.
As the tournament grows, it remains rooted in it’s original mission to bring people together to have fun through hockey, community, and a shared love of winter.
