Alex Regen is Managing Director of Please Space, a 20,000 sq. ft. natural-light photo, film, and event studio in Brooklyn, New York. The space is used by brands including Nike, Netflix, Calvin Klein, and Vogue.
His work focuses on building platforms, both physical and cultural, that bring people together. This includes Please Space, a home base for high-volume content production, and the Berkshire Pond Hockey Classic, an outdoor tournament held on a frozen lake in the Berkshires.
He also originated the Wahconah Park Ice Rink in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, transforming a historic minor league baseball stadium into a winter destination through partnerships with local government and regional foundations. In parallel, he is developing Kippy’s, a consumer brand centered around superfood-based ice cream for at-home use.
Earlier in his career, Alex worked across media, tech, and brand at companies including Google and Def Jam, alongside independent projects rooted in culture and community. His broader work spans photography, writing, and public-facing projects, with features including The Berkshire B Magazine, NOWNESS, and a TEDx talk through his nonprofit initiative, I SEE FACES. He is a guest lecturer at Columbia University’s GSAPP.
